The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever. 1 Timothy 5:24-25 NIV May the good Lord help us stay away from sins which reach the place of judgement ahead of us likewise those which trail behind us. May we be committed to doing good whether in the open or in our closet for  heavenly reward. Amen ROK ANSAH 27.02.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah Twitter: @ rokansah

SALVATION IS IN THE GOSPEL

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, Titus 2:11-12 NIV Father I thank you for your grace that has given me salvation. I lift up your name higher for your Word that is alive and active in me. Your Word teaches me how to live in this sinful age. It gravitates me towards righteousness as it turns my back to worldly passions. Having your Word in me gives me hope of your Spirit in me, and if your Spirit is in me then it means You are in me. That's why I say Christ in me, my hope of glory. God give me the strength to always study your word, meditate on it and live according to it since you did nothing without The WORD. AMEN. NONE OF HIS PURPOSE FOR US CAN BE THWARTED

I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2. Nothing in heaven or on earth can thwart God's purpose for your life. God will do for you just as he has promised, just obey him. Jem 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." His plans for us are numerous and I will like to enumerate few of them which include; 1. To work for your good in all things (Rom 8:28), 2. To make your path straight (Prov 3:5-6), 3. To guide you, satisfy your needs and to strengthen you (Isa 58:11), 4. To make you enter into peace (on earth) and find rest even as u lie in death (eternity) (Isa 57:2), 5. To establish your steps (Prov 16:9), 6. To give rest to all who are burdened and weary (Mat 11:28), 7. To make you the head not the tail. 8. To be your Shepherd in order not to lack anything Psalm 23:1 9. To be your strength and your defense. Psalm 118

THE ROLE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE SPREAD OF THE WORD

We are living in a generation where God has made it easy to spread his word across the world. Technology has come to aid the spread of the gospel. I have had an engagement with people who think social media platforms are evil and are inspired by the devil to take captive many souls. Personally, I do not think so. Creativity and innovation come from God. The devil doesn't create or innovate but he destroys what has been created by God. Do you know the devil quoted the bible wrongly to tempt Jesus? I mean whatever good thing God has made, the devil finds one way or the other to make it look bad. He did it to the word of God against Jesus and to man against God so it should not be a surprise if the devil tries to make social media look unattractive to Christians. With the aid of social media today, it doesn't cost as much as it cost the early Apostles to spread the word. Let's utilize all the channels available to let the world know about Christ and his love. God created thes

THE MIGHTY WARRIOR WHO SAVES

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 NIV If God be for us who can be against us? Today's scripture is a reminder that God, the mighty warrior who saves is still with us, we are his delight. He has forgiven our iniquities and he rejoices over us with a song. Heaven is singing because of you. Hallelujah. Walk with the courage that the mighty warrior who saves has won all your battles for you even before you were born. If God is rejoicing over you with a song then you've got no reason to be sad, rejoice along with God! I am God's delight! WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST

for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?”  But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 NIV The new creation is a replica of Christ. God has blessed him of everything of Christ including his mind. Having the mind of Christ makes us think and act like him. The mind of Christ conceives possibilities and  victory. We have his mind through the presence of the Holy Spirit living in us. The Spirit keeps us in sync with Christ. “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him—  these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God." 1 Corinthians 2:9‭-‬10 NIV Lovely God, we love you for giving us the mind of Christ through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches all things including the deep things of God and make them known to us through revelation. Walk with the mind of Christ, command your world, c

GOD'S PACKAGE FOR THE WORSHIPPER

WORSHIP the Lord your God , and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away disease from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span. Exo. 23:25-26. God's eyes watches over those who have chosen to worship him. His blessing is on their food and water, he takes away disease from among them and they never suffer miscarriage or barrenness. It's God's will to ensure that such people live a full lifespan. To worship the Lord means to revere Him, to be devoted to Him  and to be governed by His statutes. In the Old Testament, animals were sacrificed as a way of  worshipping God but in our days, the true worshipper must offer his life as a holy sacrifice to the Lord, that's our true and proper worship. "Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship". Rom 12:1. In Jesus

WHAT IS THE DAY OF TROUBLE

And call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honour me. Psalm 50:15. What is the day of trouble? Jesus said in Mat 6:34 that, "...Each day has enough trouble of its own." This means we should always call on God as we approach and live in a new day to avoid the snare of the enemy. May the Lord grant us the strength to pray always for his deliverance. May he protect us and deliver us from any trouble ahead that we may give him his glory and honour. Amen ROK ANSAH 20.02.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah Twitter: @rokansah

LIVE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DEFEAT THE FLESH

What shall it profit man if he gains the whole world, I mean if he enjoys all the pleasures and wealth on earth and loose his soul? Obviously, he will gain nothing. The world and everything in it is coming to a an end as we are aware. Why then do we spend much time on the perishable things of the world to the detriment of our eternal glory? Often we say, "But for this I think I'm serving the Lord well".  But for the gossip, the envy, the fornication, the thievery, etc you think you are serving the Lord well? The petty things we ignore today may live to hurt our salvation tomorrow. It's about time we worshipped the Lord in truth and in spirit to be able to overcome the desires of the flesh. Gal 5:16 says, 'So I say, live by the SPIRIT and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh'. We can please God only when we deny ourselves the desires of the flesh by living by the SPIRIT. "Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God", ROM 8:8.

ARE YOU ONE OF THE FEW WORKERS?

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Matthew 9:37 NIV There are a lot of souls on the field who need to be told about God's love. They need to be told about the message of salvation. The message that leads to eternity and give hope to the hopeless. Christ acknowledges how plentiful the harvest is but with few workers. Are you one of the few workers? Christ is calling on you as a vessel to deliver his message. If we work for man we get paid how much more will Christ pay us if we work for him? Your prayer support and physical presence is needed as we prepare to move to the field for a harvest. Missions! Our calling! I AM COMING SOON WITH MY REWARD

Let's assume there would not be tomorrow. The world and everything in it would be destroyed today, where would you find yourself? Would you be destroyed with the world or you would join the train of those who would have access to the Kingdom of God? Take a sober reflection of your life and answer yourself. In Rev. 22:12 says, "Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done." 2 Cor. 5:10 says, "For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is DUE to us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad." How well have you lived for Christ? What reward are you expecting should he appear today? What account are you going to give of yourself before the judgement seat of Christ and what reward will you receive thereafter? Does God approve of your actions and inactions? It's not too late to correct the wrongs. Today is another opportunity to

WHEN THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11 KJV The Holy Spirit is the life of God dwelling in and among the children of God. He is the power of God by which all things were made. By the Spirit, God called into being the things which were not as though they were. By the tremendous power and authority of the Holy Spirit Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. The Holy Spirit is still efficacious today. He hasn't expired. He is the advocate Jesus left with us. You're the residence of the Holy Spirit. He gives life to our mortal bodies, through the Spirit of God, mortality is converted to immortality, yes, we have an endless life when the Spirit of God dwells in us. We are more than conquerors because of the Holy Spirit. What a multi purpose being have we been blessed with. The Christian gets better when the Holy Spirit lives

OUR HEARTS' DESIRE FOR THE UNBELIEVER

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. Romans 10:1 NIV It is the will of God not to see any of us perish not even the unbeliever hence everyday brings the opportunity for a renewal of mind and to take the word to the unbeliever. It should be the heart desire and prayer of every Christian to bring the unsaved to the saving knowledge of Christ. How often do you share the word? How often do you pray for the lost souls? How many souls has Christ won through you? “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”   How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:13‭-‬15 NIV Let's utilize every opportunity to make Christ known. Preach the word

IT'S NOT YET OVER

Sarah said, 'God has brought me laughter, and averyone who hears about this will laugh with me'. Gen 21:6. This was the remarks of Sarah when she gave birth to Isaac at the age that was impossible from human's perspective. In Gen 18:9-10, one of the three visitors from God told Abraham, "I will surely return to you about this time next year and Sarah your wife will have a son" Sarah thinking from a man's perspective laughed to herself and said, ' after I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?'. Brethren, no matter how hard or hopeless the situation is now, your breakthrough is definitely awaiting you. Is anything too hard for the Lord? Absolutely nothing is too hard for God. Gen 21:1 says, "Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised". God will surely do for you as he has promised. Do not argue with God. Just keep calm and have faith. Those who laugh at you now c

THE LOVE, THE GRACE AND THE FELLOWSHIP

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14 NIV We need God's love and grace and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit in our daily walk. God demonstrated his love for us by letting Christ die for us when we were still sinners. If when we were sinners he loved us how much more will he love us now that we have been made righteous? Did you know that love does not keep records of sin? If God is love then he does not keep records of our sin through his grace. The sufficiency of God's grace is to the extent that it covers over multitude of sins. Grace is the free and unmerited favour of God as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowing of blessings. Fellowship is a friendly relationship among people, the relationship of people who share interests or feelings. Having a fellowship with the Holy Spirit means being a friend to the Spirit of God, our advocate who has our interest at
We are neither angels nor saints. We have our weaknesses which we must be aware of. We ought not to gloat over them though. Glory be to God who has  revealed himself to us through his son Jesus Christ. In Jesus we are equipped with the arsenal to fight our weaknesses. His word is enough for us to overcome our flaws. What shall we do then? We shall walk with him daily for his inspiration through prayers and his word. Have a blessed day. JUST A TOUCH OF YOU WILL SET MY LIFE ON FIRE

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:10‭-‬11 NIV Apostle Paul was once an enemy of the cross, a persecutor of Christians, a man who didn't understand the essence and the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It took just a touch of Jesus to turn around the life of the Persecutor Paul to Apostle Paul. Once an enemy of the cross now wants to do everything to know Christ, the power of his resurrection, become like him and attain to the resurrection from the dead. What a dramatic change His touch can bring? We also need the touch of Christ to become examples of him in this wicked and evil generation. His touch will set us on fire, we will love what he loves and do what he does. You may be aware of something that questions your integrity before the Lord; the gossip, adultery, fornication, etc, you just need

THE CONFIDENCE WE HAVE IN APPROACHING GOD

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14‭-‬15 NIV Confidence can be defined as the feeling or belief that you can do something, or something is good or true, or the belief we have that someone has the ability to do something. The confidence we have in approaching God is that whatever we ask him according to his WILL he hears us and as a result we have whatever we ask of him. WILL in this context means the legal document God has prepared about you stating your spiritual and physical possessions. Do you ask from God according to his will or your will? How do we know the will of God for our lives? Our parents may have good plans for us but until we get closer to them, we wouldn't know. Same applies to our relationship with God. Until we get closer to him we wouldn't know his will for us and we will end up a

PRAY CONTINUALLY, 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17 NIV

In the silence of our hearts, we speak thunder and strike the enemy with lightening for the prayer of the righteous man is very effective and active. As dedicated Christians, we can pray always all day irrespective of the environment. Whilst silent, meditate on the word, pray in your mind and in your heart. We can do this from our house to the bus stop  the bus stop to the office or even as we drive and during our stay in the office. When our minds are in tune with God, he converts our silence prayer and meditation into thunder and lightening that the enemy cannot stand. He builds around us walls of fire that the devil and his team cannot enter our territory. Make this a part of your prayer life as you demolish the stronghold of the enemy. Take charge! May the Lord answer our prayers when we call on him. Amen. ROK ANSAH 03.02.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah Twitter: @rokansah

KEEP YOUR HOPE ALIVE

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Romans 4:18 NIV We know the story of Abraham and Sarah. Even when God has promised them, it took many years before the promise was realised in their lives. I believe people made mockery of them as they were looking forward to God to fulfill his promise. People may be making mockery of you too. God delivered at a time when everyone may have thought it was over. God's delivery comes in his own time. It comes at a time when the glory will be immeasurable. Is it not the same God who resurrected Jesus when all hope was lost? Those who hope in God do not suffer lost. If you know he who has promised, you will keep your hope alive. His competence and faithfulness is unquestionable. He is not a man that he should lie. He hasn't changed his mind about you. Keep walking in his presence. He will soon make everything so beautiful for you. R
