CAST YOUR BURDENS ON JESUS FOR HE CARES

It has been years in tears. I have been trapped in chains. I have endured many pains. I have tried all I could without gains. The race of life has taken me up and down, But I cannot see the finishing line. When? I ask when? When shall this mountain move? When shall the valley be filled and the closed doors opened? When shall it be over? As i try solving one problem, then another emerges. My burdens are weighing me down. Who shall help? Who shall I call? It is obvious my strength cannot see me through. As I was wandering, I heard a voice from afar saying; ''Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, And I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; For I am gentle and humble in heart. And you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light .'' That must be the voice of Jesus, I said. I take off my old life and put on a new life in Him. For I know, the old things are gone and the new things have come

NOW HAS COME THE INTERCESSOR FOR THE BRETHREN

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Romans 8:33‭-‬34 NIV Yesterday, we looked at how the accuser of the brethren has been cast down to our feet. His aim of condemning us before God as well as bringing enmity between us and God all came to an end when he was over powered by the blood of Jesus. Now, no one can bring any charge against us for we are being justified daily by the purification of the blood of Jesus. There's no condemnation for us for we have the intercessor for the brethren, Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of God interceding for us day and night for our shortfalls. "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Heb. 7:25 It's my prayer that we shall embrace the

REJOICE! OUR ACCUSER HAS BEEN CAST DOWN

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Messiah (Christ): for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10 The downfall of the enemy through the death and resurrection of Christ brought to us Salvation, Strength, the Kingdom of God, and the Power of Christ. Glory to God for making us partakers of the finished work of the cross. Now we have every reason to rejoice in the Lord. The enemy, who accuses us day and night before God has lost that position, there's no relationship between him and God, he has been cast down, he is a loser. His position now is under our feet. So long as we live in God's Kingdom, we are immune from the devil's accusations. We have overcome him with the blood of the Lamb and the testimony we share in Christ. Rejoice! Walk in salvation, strength, and the Power of Christ as you live in God's Kingdo

WE REIGN ON THE EARTH

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.  You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9‭-‬10 NIV God has purchased us with the blood of Jesus. Blood represents life, hence,  our lives have been exchanged with the life of Jesus. The life we live now is the life of Christ in us, the old life is gone, the new has come. We have been bought into a new Kingdom, made priests to serve our God, and also to reign in this Earth. As those who reign, we have the unmatched power of God to rule over every situation in this world for we don't posses the spirit of fear but of power. Note that In this world we are like Jesus. Therefore, we have the power to do just what he did on earth as he intercede for us in heaven. The life of Christ in us gives us

THE QUALITY OF OUR DEEDS WILL BE TESTED WITH FIRE

12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is because the day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire and the fire will test the quality of each person's work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 1 Cor 3:12-14.             Jesus Christ is the solid foundation on which we are building as Christians. You may have a solid foundation, but if you decide to build on it with inferior materials, the building will not stand the test of time. The wind will blow and it will be swept away, a little electrical fault will trigger fire in the house. Yes, the structure will be destroyed but the foundation will remain the same. As Christians having Christ in us, if we decide to live anyhow, we shall be destroyed on the day of judgement. That will not mean we did not receive Christ rather we failed to build on him with the right materials (deeds). In the preamb

THE ROUGH ROAD

We are on a rough road to a known destination. The road is rough but the destination is enviable. A lot will fall out as the going gets tough. Many will cry and would wish they could fly through the sky to the destination (shortcut). Some will grow weary as the journey presents many scary moments. When all hope is lost, strength fades out and failure stares at you, Remember, that was the moment Abraham and Sarah grew in faith the more. Don't quit, Success awaits! Just be bold and keep digging until you find the gold. Success is the destination. www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rokansah

THE HOUR IS UNKNOWN

Oh my God! How many seconds, hours, days…years am I left to live? I have been struggling to know but there seem to be no answer in sight. No one is coming forth with the answer. God can you help? Why do I have to know and what if I knew? What would I say right? What song would I sing or dance to? What would I watch? What friends would I make? Would I do something different from I am doing currently? These questions are begging for answers. Some people say if they had a revelation that they would die some moments ahead they would start doing things right. Others say they are waiting to attain a certain age before they start doing things right. And still others are oblivious of the fact that they can die suddenly. What a pity? Is death really a factor we consider before we act in a right? The time to live like a soldier on the battle field is now. This is the time to know that your hour can come at any time anywhere. The soldier is mentally prepared, physically strong and armed to enco

I WILL TELL GOD INSTEAD

My present situation seems to be a disgrace. Nonetheless, I'm surviving by His grace. All the days, I will give you your praise. I keep my trust in you, now take your place in me. In the midst of my uncertainty, l find certainty in His love for my life. People see me now and laugh, But I see my future and smile. I have made my troubles known to many in my distress, Yet all their responses have been fruitless. Now is the time to speak to God alone, Fixing my eyes on Jesus. Father, you're the light in my darkness You turn my poverty into abundance of riches My weakness and sickness can't survive your strength and healing. Speak life to any lifeless situation around me. No matter how long I have cried, I know with you the day to smile is near. I will forever tell you of my troubles, For you're the trusted provider. Forever will I sing your praise for the victory you win for me. "Trouble and distress have come upon me, "But your commands give

BE ZEALOUS FOR GOD

9 ...and the word of the LORD came to him: "What are you doing here?' 10 He replied: 'I have been zealous for God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your alters, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too". 1 Kings 19:9-10.                     Can you confidently tell God you have been zealous for him in spite of persecutions, the desire of the flesh, financial difficulties, unemployment, etc? Elijah, a prophet of God was being persecuted, Jezebel wanted to take his life so he fled to Horeb, the mountain of God where he hid himself in a cave. Brethren, in times of challenges where do you run to? Do you turn your back to God or you lift up your eyes to him? As Christians, we shall face many challenges for it's written, "In fact, anyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ will be persecuted", 2 Tim 3:12. Therefore, when persecution comes, we should acknow
