DO NOT BLAME GOD WHEN YOU SIN

"The man said, 'The woman you put here with me, she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it." Gen 3:12 Exposition Mostly, when we commit sin, instead of we showing remorse and ask for forgiveness, we rather try to give reasons for our immoralities and apportion blame. Adam had a foreknowledge that eating that fruit was forbidden yet when he did eat, he ended up blaming God by saying "the woman You put here with me..." He could have shown remorse and ask for forgiveness, rather, he sought a way to justify what he did. No one can justify himself before God. It is Him who justifies. We are left with no option as Christians than to be remorseful and ask for forgiveness of sin when we are caught in it for  God's word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9.  May the Lord help us to be righteous always. If even we sin, may we be remo

THE SMALL BEGINNINGS

"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin..." Zacharia 4:10 Exposition Many of us have great ambitions. We have dreams when realized can move mountains, fill the valley, break iron gates, etc. I mean, the reality of our dreams can provide solutions to lots of the challenges in our society. The question is, why are many dreams aborted? Many dreams do not see the day of light, a lot die with their ambitions, and many talents have gone wasted. I could not agree more with Les Brown when he said,  “The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.” Given the magnitude of our dream

CAN I WRITE ABOUT GOD?

Racking my brains for words Which word can describe You? I seem to get none. The uncreated yet the Creator. The fatherless yet the Father to all. The unseen yet He sees all Oh! God of holiness You hate sin but not the sinner. Your eyes do not see sin but you have the antidote for it. God, can I ask you a question? Where were you before creation? May I know how old you are? Who created you and your creator's creator? What technology did you use for creation? The more questions I ask, The more senseless I become to the reader. No one can understand you You alone understand your doings From everlasting to everlasting you reign The generations which allow your guidance Are not left disappointed. From the beginning to the end you know. Amazing God with amazing grace. All powerful God who does not abuse his authority. Your counsel keeps your children from destruction. Your love for humanity endures forever. Oops! Time and space won't allow me to write m

TODAY WE'RE, TOMORROW WE'RE NOT

Yesterday we were a fetus, Today we are living beings, Who shall we be tomorrow? None can say with certainty. We aspire to become who we are not. Before we become who we are not, Many will give up, others will die. We may not achieve all our dreams, Yet in the midst of our failures and victories, We should aspire to make it to our Maker When the trumpet sounds. Today we're, tomorrow we're not. The journey of life ends at the doorstep of death. When my life will end remains unknown, Yet with certainty, I know I will be no more one day. Because it's appointed unto man to die once, But after this, the judgement. Today we have life, tomorrow we may not have it Today we are young, tomorrow we will be old. As we grow older, the closer we get to the grave. Whether timid or brave, Each day, we approach the grave as we age. As we attend others' funeral, So one day ours would be attended by many. Today we're, tomorrow we're not. I have seen the

SPIRITUALLY BLESSED BEFORE CREATION

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:3-4.                     Is it not refreshing to know that we have been blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ? We are told that God chose us in Christ before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless. We ought to sing praises to God for this honour. Indeed, God knew us before we were born. What can I say unto the Lord? All I can say is thank you Lord. Our spiritual blessing comes with a responsibility to live a holy and blameless life in the sight of God. When we pass this test, our spiritual blessing will manifest in the physical realm. "Who can bring any charge against those whom God has chosen?" Absolutely no one for we have been justified by God. It's my prayer that we get to kno

LET'S RENEW OUR MINDS!

Infidelity, adultery, promiscuity, dishonesty, hypocrisy, and the likes. The very things we talk against in the church but we love them outside the church. Can the church grow on such a weak foundation? We turn angels on Sundays just for a moment but thereafter many come back to enjoy the things of the world. Are we a serious generation? For how long shall we deceive ourselves? How can we see God's glory in ourlives when we live just as the world do? Are we wolves in sheep skin? God hates lukewarm attitude. Let's position ourselves well in the Lord to avoid his wrath. How will you feel that day if Jesus tells you plainly, "I don't know you. Away from me you evildoers." Let's renew our minds! www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah

RELAX NOT

Sleep to dream; Wake up to work out the dream. Sleep with the eyes; But keep the mind awake Understand your environment; The problems many talk about, In them are the unseen opportunities. Each problem presents it's own opportunity. Keep pushing Keep running Don't give up Until you cause it to happen. www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah

NOTHING STANDS IN HIS WAY CONCERNING HIS PLANS FOR YOU

"I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron." Isaiah 45:2 The Lord knows all the afflictions and persecutions the righteous will go through on this earth for His name sake. There are times things will seem difficult, problems may look unsolvable, death maybe starring at us, but in all these situations, we are more than conquerors because He who appointed us foresaw all these coming and He made adequate provision to curtail them. Yes, we may see the unclimbable mountains ahead of us, but the Lord will level them before we get to them, the shut doors may be seen, but He will open them. With the Lord going with us, we shall pass through the sea just as we walk on the dry land. We will come out from every difficulty because He is always there with us. May the Lord accomplish all his promises for you. May He give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, for the world to know that indeed we serve

LET'S BE OF HELP TO OTHERS

Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone. 1 Thessalonians 5:13b-15.                     For a peaceful coexistence in our homes, communities, marriage, relationships, churches, work places and in the country, there is the need for us to think beyond ourselves as we are being admonished. As Christians, we have an obligation to be there for one another. We ought to be interested in  the spiritual and physical welfare of our colleagues. Let's help the deprived, the disappointed, the weak, the homeless, etc. Let's help somebody rise up, let's help the weak to be strong. Let's be there to wipe the tears of those in sorrow. For God so loved us and offered Jesus for the remission of our sins and he raised him up for our jus

AS HE WAS WITH OUR ANCESTORS SO HE IS WITH US

"No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them." Joshua 1:5-6.                           What kind of leadership position have you found yourself today? We are all leaders in one way or the other. In the church, work place, homes, and even among our friends, we play leadership roles sometimes. We are being encouraged not to fear anything for the Good Lord will be with us till we achieve whatever objectives set before us. We should not  be intimidated by what people say or what we see, we only have to be spiritually, mentally and physically strong to overcome any obstacle that will come our way for the Lord is with us. Being in tune with God is the surest way to overcome. May the Lord grant us success just as he did for our ancestors. God be with you j

THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL REMAIN AFTER THE STORM

When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm for ever. Prov 10:25. The ungodly will have no place when the storm is over. He will be blown away like dust because he lacks the root (righteousness) that will make him stand firm in a stormy environment. It is my prayer that we shall uphold a righteous living to enable us stand the storm of our days whichever form it may come. May the Lord grant us the strength and the ability to endure every situation for  us not to fall into temptation. Amen www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah

WHAT KIND OF TREE OR BRANCH AM I?

"Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit." Mat 12:33 "I am the true vine and my father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will even be more fruitful." John 15:1-2.                                     Let's examine ourselves and answer the following questions truthfully.               1. What kind of tree am I? 2. What kind of fruit do i bear? 3. What kind of branch am I in the vine? 4. Do I need to be cut off because I am fruitless or I need to be pruned to bear more fruits? Choose to be a good tree and bear good fruits or you perished. Choose to be a fruitful branch in the VINE (JESUS) or you are cut off by the GARDENER (GOD). May the Lord help us. Amen www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah

THE NEW DECLARATION

"See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce it to you." Isaiah 42:9. God is busily working around the clock to establish you. He has made it a point to supply you anything you need according to his abundant riches, i.e. good health, long life, salvation, and the likes. Even before you realise the full manifestation of what he is doing in your life, he has given you the hint. God is going to restore, promote, and firmly establish you in the new scheme of things. Probably you're poor today but the Lord is going to transition you from poverty to riches. All your pains and sickness will be healed. The grace of the Lord will overshadow your disgrace and your lips will be full of his praise.  Do not look to your left or right. Let your eyes look straight ahead. May the Lord be our focus. The Lord declares new things to you today. You're going to attain a new level. Signs and wonders shall accompany you but

CAST YOUR BURDENS ON JESUS FOR HE CARES

It has been years in tears. I have been trapped in chains. I have endured many pains. I have tried all I could without gains. The race of life has taken me up and down, But I cannot see the finishing line. When? I ask when? When shall this mountain move? When shall the valley be filled and the closed doors opened? When shall it be over? As i try solving one problem, then another emerges. My burdens are weighing me down. Who shall help? Who shall I call? It is obvious my strength cannot see me through. As I was wandering, I heard a voice from afar saying; ''Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, And I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; For I am gentle and humble in heart. And you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light .'' That must be the voice of Jesus, I said. I take off my old life and put on a new life in Him. For I know, the old things are gone and the new things have come

NOW HAS COME THE INTERCESSOR FOR THE BRETHREN

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Romans 8:33‭-‬34 NIV Yesterday, we looked at how the accuser of the brethren has been cast down to our feet. His aim of condemning us before God as well as bringing enmity between us and God all came to an end when he was over powered by the blood of Jesus. Now, no one can bring any charge against us for we are being justified daily by the purification of the blood of Jesus. There's no condemnation for us for we have the intercessor for the brethren, Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of God interceding for us day and night for our shortfalls. "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Heb. 7:25 It's my prayer that we shall embrace the

REJOICE! OUR ACCUSER HAS BEEN CAST DOWN

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Messiah (Christ): for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10 The downfall of the enemy through the death and resurrection of Christ brought to us Salvation, Strength, the Kingdom of God, and the Power of Christ. Glory to God for making us partakers of the finished work of the cross. Now we have every reason to rejoice in the Lord. The enemy, who accuses us day and night before God has lost that position, there's no relationship between him and God, he has been cast down, he is a loser. His position now is under our feet. So long as we live in God's Kingdom, we are immune from the devil's accusations. We have overcome him with the blood of the Lamb and the testimony we share in Christ. Rejoice! Walk in salvation, strength, and the Power of Christ as you live in God's Kingdo

WE REIGN ON THE EARTH

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.  You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9‭-‬10 NIV God has purchased us with the blood of Jesus. Blood represents life, hence,  our lives have been exchanged with the life of Jesus. The life we live now is the life of Christ in us, the old life is gone, the new has come. We have been bought into a new Kingdom, made priests to serve our God, and also to reign in this Earth. As those who reign, we have the unmatched power of God to rule over every situation in this world for we don't posses the spirit of fear but of power. Note that In this world we are like Jesus. Therefore, we have the power to do just what he did on earth as he intercede for us in heaven. The life of Christ in us gives us

THE QUALITY OF OUR DEEDS WILL BE TESTED WITH FIRE

12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is because the day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire and the fire will test the quality of each person's work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 1 Cor 3:12-14.             Jesus Christ is the solid foundation on which we are building as Christians. You may have a solid foundation, but if you decide to build on it with inferior materials, the building will not stand the test of time. The wind will blow and it will be swept away, a little electrical fault will trigger fire in the house. Yes, the structure will be destroyed but the foundation will remain the same. As Christians having Christ in us, if we decide to live anyhow, we shall be destroyed on the day of judgement. That will not mean we did not receive Christ rather we failed to build on him with the right materials (deeds). In the preamb

THE ROUGH ROAD

We are on a rough road to a known destination. The road is rough but the destination is enviable. A lot will fall out as the going gets tough. Many will cry and would wish they could fly through the sky to the destination (shortcut). Some will grow weary as the journey presents many scary moments. When all hope is lost, strength fades out and failure stares at you, Remember, that was the moment Abraham and Sarah grew in faith the more. Don't quit, Success awaits! Just be bold and keep digging until you find the gold. Success is the destination. www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rokansah

THE HOUR IS UNKNOWN

Oh my God! How many seconds, hours, days…years am I left to live? I have been struggling to know but there seem to be no answer in sight. No one is coming forth with the answer. God can you help? Why do I have to know and what if I knew? What would I say right? What song would I sing or dance to? What would I watch? What friends would I make? Would I do something different from I am doing currently? These questions are begging for answers. Some people say if they had a revelation that they would die some moments ahead they would start doing things right. Others say they are waiting to attain a certain age before they start doing things right. And still others are oblivious of the fact that they can die suddenly. What a pity? Is death really a factor we consider before we act in a right? The time to live like a soldier on the battle field is now. This is the time to know that your hour can come at any time anywhere. The soldier is mentally prepared, physically strong and armed to enco

I WILL TELL GOD INSTEAD

My present situation seems to be a disgrace. Nonetheless, I'm surviving by His grace. All the days, I will give you your praise. I keep my trust in you, now take your place in me. In the midst of my uncertainty, l find certainty in His love for my life. People see me now and laugh, But I see my future and smile. I have made my troubles known to many in my distress, Yet all their responses have been fruitless. Now is the time to speak to God alone, Fixing my eyes on Jesus. Father, you're the light in my darkness You turn my poverty into abundance of riches My weakness and sickness can't survive your strength and healing. Speak life to any lifeless situation around me. No matter how long I have cried, I know with you the day to smile is near. I will forever tell you of my troubles, For you're the trusted provider. Forever will I sing your praise for the victory you win for me. "Trouble and distress have come upon me, "But your commands give

BE ZEALOUS FOR GOD

9 ...and the word of the LORD came to him: "What are you doing here?' 10 He replied: 'I have been zealous for God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your alters, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too". 1 Kings 19:9-10.                     Can you confidently tell God you have been zealous for him in spite of persecutions, the desire of the flesh, financial difficulties, unemployment, etc? Elijah, a prophet of God was being persecuted, Jezebel wanted to take his life so he fled to Horeb, the mountain of God where he hid himself in a cave. Brethren, in times of challenges where do you run to? Do you turn your back to God or you lift up your eyes to him? As Christians, we shall face many challenges for it's written, "In fact, anyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ will be persecuted", 2 Tim 3:12. Therefore, when persecution comes, we should acknow

GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND GRACE OF OUR LORD

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." 2 Peter 3:18 NIV To grow means to increase in size, amount, to become better or improved, more developed or mature. It can also refer to the passage from childhood to adulthood. We all have growth expectation. We want to see growth in our business, income levels, relationship, marriage, children, etc. We don't want to be stagnated but to move forward. I want us to do a personal assessment of our Christian lives. Have you grown ever since you accepted Christ as your Lord and personal saviour? What is your level of maturity and reasoning as a Christian? How well do you know Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour? Our answers to the above questions depend on our knowledge of Him. Our ability to stay away from the pleasures of the world depends on our maturity, our level of growth in the Lord. The time has come to put in effort to grow as Christians. Jes

DESTRUCTION AWAITS THE DISOBEDIENT

Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. Jude 1:5 NIV The Lord delivered all the Israelites from the land of Egypt but those who were disobedient were destroyed without mercy. In our days, the Lord sent Jesus Christ to die for our redemption. Glory be to God that we have been redeemed from our sins and the power of darkness. What I want us to ponder over is our lifestyle after we have been redeemed. Do we still live our old lifestyle? Do we live to please the flesh or the Spirit. Though we have been redeemed, we have a role to play to make our calling complete. We have got to work out our salvation through obedience to God's instructions. That day is coming when the Lord will bring destruction on whoever refused to obey his instructions just as he did to the Israelites who disobeyed after they were delivered "for many are called, but few are chosen."

BUILD YOURSELF UP IN THE FAITH

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Jude 1:20-21 NIV The Christian walk is characterized with lots of missiles thrown from the camp of the enemy at any point in time. Think about what happened to Job and the other great servants of God. Their faith was tested on many occasions. The apostles for instance, were chained, imprisoned, and flogged but because their faith was firmly built on the ROCK, they never gave up. Job, the Bible says never sinned against God in all his difficulties. To build our faith, we need to be connected with the Holy Spirit who will teach, remind, direct, rebuke, and comfort us in the good and bad times. We ought to fast and pray in the Spirit of God to be in tune with Him as we build our faith May God's love and mercy be your portion as you take steps to build up your faith. Go

ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER IN CHRIST

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17 NIV Everything is made perfect in Christ Jesus. We have been made whole in him, as such our lives will never fall apart. Greater is He that has called us. Isn't he greater than your problems? In Christ Jesus everything hold tightly together. Jesus has supremacy over our lives. It is in Christ alone that our finances, marriage, relationships, occupation, education, etc hold together. Nothing that is kept in him can fall apart. Let's submit everything that concerns our lives in His hands. Come to the Lord today with your challenges. He's available to provide solutions to them. May the Lord be with us. God bless you. OH GOD! IS IT TOO LATE?

God! Is it too late to save me from destruction? Is it too late to let the world know you love me? Is it too late to let the world know you exist in my life? Is it too late to turn my life around? Is it too late to heal my sickness and my wounds? Is it to late to make me whole? Is it too late to enrich me with you Spirit, power and love? Is it too late to say to the storm in my life "Peace be still?" Oh God of mercy! Turn your face to me. Answer my prayer when I come to your presence. The enemy is after me, rescue me God Let the world know that you're my Shepherd so I shall not want. When it's in God's hands, it's not too late. www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah

THE LORD CARES FOR THE RIGHTEOUS

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”   Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 1 Peter 3:12-13 NIV The Lord didn't call us to shame us. He called us to care for us as we worship him in truth and in spirit. The Lord keeps His eyes on us wherever we find ourselves. He doesn't just keep watching over us but his ears are attentive to us whenever we call on him in prayer. Living a righteous life grants us absolute protection in God. Who can harm us if we are eager to do good? Once we do good and we enjoy God's protection we shall always come out victorious from all deadly situations. It's my prayer that we posses the will power to pay the price to live a righteous life to enjoy life in Christ. The worst thing to ever happen to man is when the face of the Lord is against them. May the Lord never turn his face against you. Be righteous in the eyes of t

FORGIVE JUST AS YOU HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32 NIV Bitterness, rage, anger, brawl, slander, and malice contaminate our relationship with one another. So long as we live in the flesh we will hurt others and others will hurt us consciously or unconsciously. But what gains do we reap if we keep the pains which accompany the hurt? Let's emulate God who saved us in Christ Jesus even when we were sinners. The wheel of our salvation is the Love of God. God wouldn't send Jesus for our salvation if he doesn't love us. Where love reigns there is forgiveness. The tent of LOVE is so wide to cover over a multitude of sins. Show compassion and learn how to forgive just as God has forgiven you in Christ Jesus. May the bless his word and may you be blessed as well. ROK ANSAH www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com

WHY WE ARE WELL EQUIPPED

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:11‭-‬12 KJV Yesterday, the word of God made us understand how we are sufficiently equipped as armies in the Kingdom of God. Today, I want us to briefly look at why God in his wisdom, has equipped us with His Spirit. First of all, He made His spirit to dwell in us because, though we are in this world, we are not of this world. Secondly, as God's army, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. We do not face physical troops but spiritual. The Spirit of God therefore comes upon us to elevate us to spiritual status, He makes us heavenly beings, He sets us above our opponents which are principalities, powers, rulers of darkness in this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. Let's therefore

WE ARE WELL EQUIPPED IN CHRIST

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:4‭-‬5 KJV The word of God says when the Holy Spirit comes on us we shall receive power. As temples of God, the Holy Spirit is now in us and we have that power. Remember that we have not been given the spirit of fear but of power, love and of sound mind. There's no way the enemy can defeat a spirit filled man. Once we are filled with the Holy Spirit, He does all our battles for us. He's always at the forefront of our warfare. With him as our commander in chief, we have a mighty weapon through God to pull down the stronghold of the devil, cast down imaginations, we take the enemy captive. I mean, the spirit filled man has what it takes to tame the enemy. We do not run from the enemy but

THE JOURNEY TO THE GRAVE

The journey to the grave. Is not meant for only the brave. The timid shall go as well as the powerful. Both the rich and the poor shall be there. The master and the servant will both find their way there. No matter who you are, What you eat, Or what you wear, A day is coming that you will be swept away by death. It is the journey from a known world to an unknown one. Neither your consent nor preparedness matters. Whether prepared or unprepared; When the day comes, you have no say. You will be swept to your home of eternal stay. Take note of these things; As the days go by, you are getting closer. As you breath in and out you are nearing the grave. Anytime you celebrate your birthday, a year is taken from your life span. Remember our life is but a breath. There comes a day, That the eyes that sees us now will see us no more. Our names would be called but we can't respond. We shall be laid down in the dust, We shall be searched for but shall not be seen, Naked

LET'S MAKE MARRIAGE BEAUTIFUL

Better to live on a corner of the roof than to share a house with a quarrelsome wife. Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife. Proverbs 21:9, 19. I hope wives too wouldn't want to live with quarrelsome and nagging  husbands. Let's make marriage so beautiful by letting God be its C.E.O. Invite God into your relationship or marriage. Establish it on the foundation of the scriptures. Make the scriptures the constitution of your relationship or marriage. Pray and share the word together. The family that pray together live together. Have a good day. ROK ANSAH www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah

HOW DOES GOD MEASURE LIFE?

Then he said, "Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own." Luke 12:15 NLT We live in a day where corrupt, wicked and evil practices are widespread all in the name of accumulating wealth. Society today embrace the rich regardless of how they made their wealth. God is not against the rich, He is not against living a good life. In fact, our prosperity is God's priority for He wish above all things that we prosper even as our souls proper. What God detests is using questionable means to accumulate wealth or to gain advantage over the other. He doesn't measure our lives base on how much we have but how well we acquired them and using them to solve societal problems including helping the deprived. Let's not live like the rich man whose land yielded an abundant harvest, stored the surplus grain and said to himself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”  “But God said to hi

WHERE'S MY NAME WRITTEN?

"Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15 NIV Are you in the good books of God? Let's interrogate ourselves if our way of life so far pleases the Lord. If God is pleased with our choices in life, then we are hopeful of eternal joy otherwise eternal destruction awaits us. "...The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.  They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear." Matthew 13:40-43 NIV God forgive us our iniquities and straighten our ways before you. May our names be found in the book of life for us to shine like the sun in your Kingdom. Father, take away our weakness and anything that cause us to sin and fill us with the Holy Spirit. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

You loved me with all your heart. You appreciated the little things I was doing for you. Honestly, you were the definition of love. You consoled me when I was depressed. When friends and family turned their back to me; You accommodated me in your heart. You didnt grow weary in loving me. Even when things were difficult for you, You made things easier for me. I never asked you for anything. But you provided me with everything. You knew what I needed in any given time. You knew the song to sing to bring smiles on my face. You were always there to cover my nakedness. You made sure tears will not drop from my eyes in my challenging moments. If that was not love, let the people say. Ironically, I didnt notice all that you were doing for me. As you were pressing on to sustain the love; My heart was far chasing someone who took me for nothing. Now I am back to my senses. My heart beat is shouting after your name. Open your arms and welcome me with a lovely hug. I hope it

WALK IN THE LIGHT OF GOD

"... God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." 1 John 1:5-7 NIV God is light and in him there's no darkness at all. Remember during creation when darkness covered over the surface of the deep, God said "Let there be light and there was light". God saw that the light was good and he separated the light from the darkness. We have been called from darkness into the light of God. We have been made righteous through the blood of Jesus. God saw the darkness in our life and he said let there be light and indeed the light came. Let's actively walk in the light we have received. The closer we get to God, the brighter his light shines on us. If you are being threatened by any darkness (sin) in your life,

TRUST IN GOD ALONE (Pt 2)

3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: he will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him.. Psalm 37:3-7.  Trusting in God means depending on him absolutely for everything concerning our life. He who trusts in God must be faithful to him and our faithfulness to God comes through our reverence and obedience for Him. Through our obedience for God, our trust produces righteousness. God cares a lot about the righteous person. Remember the righteous person may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all, not one of his bones will be broken. King David said, he never saw the righteous forsaken or his children begging bread. Make the Lord your trusted father and you will see his glory in your life. God bl

TRUST IN GOD ALONE

7 But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8. We draw our strength from where we have put our trust. To trust is just like an investment, it yields returns. The returns or reward can be negative (disappointment, curse, disgrace, death, etc) or positive (blessing) depending on where our trust is kept. Will you trust in a mere flesh and be cursed or in the Lord whose name is our strong tower and be blessed abundantly? For it's written: "cursed is the one who trusts in a man, who draws strength from a mere flesh..." Those who trust and are confident in the Lord will never lack anything good for the Lord will provide them all their needs according to his riches. Is it not the Lord who created us? Doesn't he k

TRUST NONE

4 Beware of your friends; do not trust anyone in your clan. For every one of them is a deceiver, and every friend a slanderer. 5 Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning. Jeremiah 9:4-5.  We are being urged today not to trust our friends and even our families for everyone of them is a deceiver. Great men have fallen whereas many people are disappointed because they were betrayed by their confidants. Lots of people we call friends are actually parasites who are around us to suck our blood. They fail to tell you when you are wrong. They will malign you to others just to look good in their eyes. The enemy we sometimes run from resides in our cherished friends and families. Out of jealously, covetousness, discontentment and fear, Cain killed Abel, Joseph was sidelined by his brothers, Jacob deceived Esau for his birth right, David slept with Uriah's wife and killed Uriah thereafter, Absalom discred

ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM JUDICIOUSLY

"For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves". 1 Peter 2:15-16 NIV We have been redeemed from our sins to serve the Lord wholeheartedly. We have our liberty and we are not under the influence of any sin, curse or demons. The work was completed on the cross on our behalf by Christ. Now that we have such immeasurable freedom from the power of darkness how do we ought to live? We ought to live to demonstrate the character of the freedom fighter, Jesus. By living for him and in him, we will silence the ignorant talk of foolish people about the gospel. They will see the goodness of the Lord in us and they can't help but to follow Jesus. Let's not use our freedom in the Lord to cover up for evil. Let's live as God's slave. May the Lord bless His word and may He bless you as well. ROK ANSAH www.rokansah.blogspot.com

REFORM YOUR WAYS TO LIVE IN HIM

3 This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel says: reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place. 4 Do not trust in deceptive words and say, 'This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD! Jeremiah 7:3-4. Which aspect of your ways and actions need reformation? We ought to examine our lives each moment to see if our ways and actions are in conformity with God's will for us. The word says if we reform our ways and actions, He will let us live in "this place." The phrase "this place" can be said to be the dwelling place of God, his will for us, and his establishment for humanity. For the presence of God to dwell among us, we must strive daily to live as obedient children of God by doing what he requires of us. If we go about murdering, stealing, fornicating, deceiving, trust in deceptive words, etc, we won't have a portion in God's promises. When we keep disobeying God's instructi

A SOCIETY WITHOUT THE FEAR OF GOD

A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: the prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. Jeremiah 5:30-31. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge. For lack of knowledge my people perish. There is a lot of mess in the world because we don't factor the fear of God in our dealings. False prophets, pastors, and teachers are all over deceiving people to fill their stomach. The political institutions, governments, opinion leaders, etc are embracing laws which are affront to God. The world do not prioritize the fear of God hence there is lack of divine knowledge. The evil deeds of the world have no limit. Now homosexuals have a place in society simply because our leaders are ruling by their own authority rather than letting the authority of God prevail in their decisions. Fornication, adultery, idolatry, wickedness, etc, are the order of the day. There is no justice, no one promotes the case of the fatherl

AND IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD LIVES IN YOU...

The Holy Spirit has no limit. His presence in us gives us limitless power to do exceedingly abundantly more than the mind can conceive. The body without the Holy Spirit is dead hence he is always in us to quicken (give life to) our mortal bodies to enable us live for our maker. "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you." I am a living being in Christ having the Holy Spirit active in me and bearing the fruit of the Spirit. So the Lord has made us through his death and resurrection. As you step out and come back today, may the Spirit of the most high move out and in with you. Amen! ROK ANSAH 20.07.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com

MORALITY, LEGALITY AND THE SCRIPTURES

What is legal is based on the constitution that governs a particular jurisdiction. Many things that are morally absurd are legally right in some cases. As the scriptures promote morals which lead to salvation some aspect of many constitutions promote human right which leads to moral decadent. The question is; what would be God's basis for judgement? Would He consult the constitutions of countries or He would solely base his judgement on the scriptures which contains His own words? The scriptures is God's written constitution for mankind. It tells us how we shd live, what to expect from Him and what He expects from us. Any life lived outside the scriptures is abhorred by God. The scriptures acknowledge the dangers excessive demand for human right can bring to a society and its morals, hence, it's written, ''I have the right to do anything, you say but not everything is beneficial. I have the right to do anything but not everything is constructive. 1 Cor 10:23.

NOTHING CAN HINDER THE LORD FROM SAVING US

Jonathan said to his young armour bearer, 'Come, let's go over to the outpost of the uncircumcised men. Perhaps the LORD will act on our behalf. Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few. 1 Samuel 14:6. That was Jonathan telling his armour bearer to go with him to attack the Philistines. He believed that nothing could hinder God from saving them from their enemies though they were just two in number. There come a point in life where we face multiple challenges and we ask ourselves how we could overcome them. The answer is simple. Approach each situation having in mind that nothing can hinder God from helping you overcome. Remember the battle is the Lord's. It's not your effort that will grant you victory it is the presence of God in you. Yes, we are vessels filled with the Spirit of God for battles.  He who lives in us will always fight for us. Just be in a good standing with him. ROK ANSAH www.rokansah.blogspot.com

TWO DAYS IN A MAN'S LIFE WITH DIFFERENT PURPOSE

In life, there are two memorable days. Even though we do not see any of these days, they are so significant to every man. We live to be told when we were born but people would live to tell others when we die. As our birthdays introduce us into this world, our death days take us out of the world. Our birthdays put smiles on the faces of our loved ones but the days of death bring sorrow. On our birthdays, we ought to put these thoughts into consideration since one of them will actualize. Thus, we will either; 1. Live longer than we have already lived, 2. Live shorter than we have already lived or 3. Live equal to the years already spent on earth. No matter the longevity of the rest of our lives from our birthday anniversary, the question that must be answered is "How would I spend the rest of my days on earth?". "How can I make the future brighter than the past?" You may have already achieved a lot, little, or nothing in life but I can assure you that the future

GOD IS PLEASED TO MAKE US HIS OWN

For the sake of his great name, the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own. 1 Samuel 12:22. As a matter of fact, we didn't decide to become the children of God. God in his own wisdom made us his own. He made us his own when sin was dominant in our lives. Even after we have been saved, as humans, we do sin, yet God says, for the sake of His great name, he will not reject us because he is pleased to make us his own. Brethren, just think of what you were when you were called. Not many of us were wise by human standards, influential, or of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, the weak things to shame the strong. No matter how the world perceive you, God is pleased to make you his own. He won't reject you so don't reject him. ROK ANSAH 10.07.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE OTHERS

16 No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. 17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into judgement. Luke 8:16-17 We are the light of the world and one obligation we have is to ensure that our light shine wherever we find ourselves, not just in the church. Matthew 5:16 says, ''Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven''. Wow! Our good deeds can turn people on to glorify God. STAND FIRM FOR GOD'S WORK

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm, let nothing moves you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your  labour in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor 15:58. Pause for a moment and ask yourself, what is my attitude towards the work of the Lord? Am I there for him when he needs me or I only seem to work for him when I want? Is the work of the Lord a priority on my schedule? Do I value his work much as I value my career? The scripture admonishes us to stand firm and we should not let anything moves us. Before one will give this advice then it means he has anticipated some danger that can derail us from our primary objective as Christians. In the Christian sense, this danger can be persecutions from within and without. Let's prioritize the work of the Lord by giving ourselves fully to it because our labour in His presence will never be in vain. ROK ANSAH 09.06.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com

CRY OUT TO GOD

But when they cried out to the LORD, he raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother who saved them. Judges 3:9. After the generation of Joshua, a new generation grew up who new neither the LORD nor what He had done for Israel. This generation did detestable things in the eyes of the LORD by worshipping the gods of the people around them. Because they violated the covenant of God, He purposed not to fight for them again. But when they realised their sins and cried out to the LORD, He sent them a deliverer who delivered them from their enemies.   If by any means you have offended God and that has exposed you to the enemy, CRY OUT TO THE LORD IN PRAYER AND HE WILL DELIVER YOU. The God who fulfilled all his promises for the Israelites has promised you too because he has chosen you and all His promises will be manifested in your life in the land of the living. GOD'S LOVE CANNOT BE EARNED

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 NIV What have you done to earn God's love? What did you do before God created you? God anticipated that man would have needs so he created all those needs before creating man. That's care and love. Care and love move in tandem. You can't love unless you care and vice versa. Because of his love for us, when sin separated us from Him, He sent his only son to come and die for us that we might live through him. Would God bother to sacrifice his only son to atone for our sins if he doesn't love us? You will realise that the doings of God concerning his love for us, we played no role in them at all. It's not by works that we are loved by God but it's by grace. He has decided to love us and nothing can shake the foundation of

The Most High God, the Everlasting and Final Judge adjudicated our case by reviewing evidence tendered by Jesus and the Devil. The devil said, the wages of sin is death, your children have sinned and they deserve eternal punishment in hell. GOD IS WORKING FOR ME

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:28 NIV We give thanks to God the everlasting and the creator of the universe. Glory be to God for  tirelessly working for my provision. God created the earth and gave everything in it for man to keep them. He didn't create them for his own consumption but for man. Our security, shelter, health care and the likes are provided by God. BE A FRUIT BEARING BRACNCH

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 NIV Imagine how the world would be if everyone bears the fruit of the Spirit? Terrorism, corruption, backbiting, indiscipline, etc will cease to exist when everyone is spiritually fruitful. Jesus said in John 15:1-2 that, He is the true vine and his father (God) is the gardener. He (God) cuts off every branch in the vine (Jesus) that does not bear fruit but those that bear fruit he prunes that they will even be more fruitful. Let's assess ourselves this morning if we are fruitful or fruitless branches in the vine. A Christian whose action doesn't yield the fruit of the Spirit is fruitless. WALK WITH THE WISE TO BE WISE

Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20 NIV God is the wisest man who is still living. In his own wisdom he established the universe. He is the father of knowledge and wisdom. How can we become wise without walking with him? The surest and the only way to be wise is to walk with God. It's either we walk with God to be wise or we associate ourselves with the fools to suffer harm. The Bible says in James 1:5 that " If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you". God gives his wisdom generously to those who ask him but you can ask him only when you walk with him. Make it a point to walk with him henceforth in Spirit and in Truth. God richly bless you. HE'S BOUGHT US

You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:20 NIV In a business acquisition transaction, a company that's acquired is acquired with its assets and liabilities mostly at a price higher than the net asset of the acquired company. This excess price over the net asset is called goodwill. When a company is bought it ceases to work in its own interest but in the interest of the parent. Our scripture for today says we were bought at a price. Christ bought us with his blood. Blood is life hence buying us with his blood means giving us his life so that we can live. We were full of liabilities (sin). We had no goodwill, we were dead, poor, sick, etc yet God still loved us and he purchased us with the blood of his son at a goodwill (Grace). Now that we have been purchased we are not our own. We exist for God as a result we ought to honour him with our bodies. May the Lord help us to love for him. Amen! THIS JOURNEY...

Sometimes it gets tough, it gets rough, it gets so hard that it looks unbreakable, so dark that there seem to be no visibility, too high beyond our ability. Our eyes become red but we can't cry, our throats become dry, our legs become weak but we have no wings to fly. Tens of thousands of thorns flood the way. Let me pause a moment and say, we wake up each day either to face a new fight or to continue an old fight. We are like soldiers without rest, faced with many test. Our only hope is God gives us the best. Life is good but hard. In fact we cannot go through the good moments in life without welcoming its tough end. We must journey through the difficulties life brings to sustain its good moments. THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS TO THE BELIEVER 2

He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again. Mark 8:31. Talking about the significance of the message of the cross to us who have believed, let's look at the pains and shame Jesus went through for our righteousness sake. Jesus predicted his death, the torture he would go through and his resurrection to his disciples. Isaiah 53:3-4a says, "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces. He was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering." Let's ask ourselves, what did Jesus do wrong to go through all these pains? Was it wrong for him to heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons? The only man who lived without sin yet he was killed like a thief, a murderer, a fornicator,

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS TO THE BELIEVER

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. 1 Cor 1:18. Let's look at the death and resurrection of Christ and it's significance to us as the chosen generation of God. Most religions have not come to terms with the fact that Jesus came, died and resurrected. In fact, some are still waiting for the coming of the Messiah. It is nuisance to them to hear believers talk about it. Glory be to God that to us who are being saved, the message about our saviour, from his birth to death and resurrection is the POWER OF GOD. GOD WITH US

The difficulty of the day comes without God's strength. The curses of the day comes without his blessings. What the enemy aims to destroy, God aims to put up. No one walks with God and ends in failure but whoever walks with him goes through difficulties. The difficulties are not meant to destroy us; they are meant for the manifestation of his glory in us at the appointed time. God doesn't create the difficulties, they are created by the forces of the world. The more we get closer to God, the more these forces try to pull us from him. In our difficulties, God never leaves us. We are always held by his righteous right hand to go through all the pains and shame. God hasn't left you so don't leave him no "matter the matter." THE QUALITIES OF A GOOD CHURCH LEADER

An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient. Since an overseer manages God’s household, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. Titus 1:6-9 NIV Every organisation needs good leadership to thrive. The church is not an exception. For the physical and spiritual growth of the church, there's always the need for our leaders to possess in an increase measure the qualities enumerated in the scriptures above. At a point, we are all in one way or the other leaders of the church. The ministry leaders and their executives, the ushers, the choristers,

What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ. Philippians 3:7-8. Apostle Paul was an ardent believer of the law. But when he encountered Jesus, he realised that the law could not save but the blood of Jesus. That is the surpassing worth of knowledge he gained. He let go his old being and embraced Christ for the renewal of his body, spirit and soul. Somethings must be considered gabbage in your life before you can please Christ. Luke 9:23 says, ''Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me''. Let's deny ourselves the lust and pleasures of the world for the sake of our encounter with Christ Jesus which is the foundation of our salvation. BEWARE OF TURNING TO EVIL

Beware of turning to evil, which you seem to prefer to affliction. Job 36:21. If you do not draw closer to God, you will find it extremely difficult to distinguish between what is good and evil. The world has become sophisticated that we are gradually embracing what years ago wouldn't be tolerated. Almost every shameful act is getting the endorsement of the international community.  The flesh is dictating the pace. Many Christians today may choose evil means to enrich or get themselves out of difficult situations rathar than waiting upon the Lord to deliver them with his MIGHTY HANDS. Let's BEWARE as christians of how canny the devil is in order not to follow the crowd. God has immeasurable reward for those who endure affliction for his name sake. Even in the affliction, he's with us to the end. Probably, you're having countless problems, from health complications to financial insufficiency, indebtedness, rejection and depression. This morning God says "Many ar

PRAY WITH REVERENT SUBMISSION

During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up PRAYERS and PETITIONS with FERVENT CRIES and TEARS to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of REVERENT SUBMISSION. Hebrews 5:7 We are still looking at how Jesus composed himself when he offered prayers to God whilst on earth. He petitioned God through prayers with fervent cries and tears knowing it's God alone who could save him. Jesus didn't go out there telling people his problems and asking them to keep him in prayers. He prayed himself. We can ask people to keep us in prayers but we have the greatest responsibility to keep ourselves in prayers. Heaven heard Jesus' prayers because of his reverent  submission. He submitted to the authority of God with all respect. He prayed with no doubt in his mind. Respect the authority of God in prayers by believing that he hears you and he will deliver according to his will when you pray. We can also pray just as Jesus did. ROK ANSAH 21.03.17 w

PRAY EARNESTLY WHEN IN ANGUISH

And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. Luke 22:44. We are imitaters of Christ. If Christ prayed when he was in anguish then we must do same in times of tribulations and persecutions. The bible says He PRAYED MORE EARNESTLY. To act with earnest means to be sincere, serious, purposeful, and determined. Please let's pray with all seriousness, aggression, and strength. Jesus could have prayed with the disciples but he decided to pray alone. It tells me that we should not always wait till there are church programs before we pray. There is the need to allocate time to pray privately like never before. Be sincere, serious, purposeful and determined when praying. Have a good time with God through prayers. Time spent in prayer is never wasted. God bless you. ROK ANSAH 20.03.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah Twitter: @ rokansah

SPEAK LIKE JESUS

Do not let any unwholesome (corrupt) talk (word) come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Eph 4:29. How beneficial is your speech to the people around you? Do you utter any word just because you are angry, hungry, poor, rich, sick or happy? As servants of Christ, we are obliged to let the nature of Christ be revealed in all aspect of our lives including our speech. We must endeavour to speak like Jesus. No corrupt word proceeded from the mouth of Jesus in his days on earth. Offer constructive criticism, rebuke with God's wisdom. There is coming a day that we shall account for our utterances. Matthew 12:36-37 says, ''I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgement for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." ROK ANSAH 18.03.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com

THIS SICKNESS WILL NOT END IN DEATH

So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”  When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” John 11:3‭-‬4 NIV When Lazarus found himself on the sick bed and Jesus was informed about it, he responded, "this sickness will not end in death. In the eyes of men Lazarus died but to Jesus, he slept for just four days. I do not know the kind of ailment you're suffering from. Is it hepatitis, typhoid, AIDS, cancer, or any form of chronic disease? Jesus is telling you today, "that sickness will not end in death, it's for God's glory so that his name will be glorified." Jesus has been given the power above all principalities, demons, witchcraft, and sickness. Trust the ever powerful Jesus that he has healed you. Nothing can curtail your life. The Bible says Jesus wept when he saw where Lazarus has been laid. Can you imagine Jesus weeping because

GATHER THE PIECES

When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”  So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. John 6:12‭-‬13 NIV Why would Jesus be concerned about the left over pieces of bread and fish after he had fed over 5000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish? He had the power to replicate same miracle the next moment but he ensured that the left over would not be wasted. In the eyes of God and in his kingdom, there's no wastage. He has respect for everything even the neglected things in the eyes of men. If Jesus was concerned about the left over food then you can feel good that he has you at heart and anything around you. Even when men turn you down, when they belittle you and you're seen as left over be rest assured that Jesus has you at heart. Be in the circles of Christ Jesus for he has instructed the Holy Spirit to

GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS

And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17 NIV The above scripture gives an account of what happened after the baptism of Jesus Christ. God made it known to the world how he loves Jesus and is pleased with him. The Bible says, as many as believe in Jesus are given the right to become the children of God. Jesus Christ is born of the spirit and we are also born of the same spirit when we believe in him. "If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God." 1 John 4:15 NIV. Would God live in an environment he's not pleased with? Certainly no! Because you have become a child of God through Jesus, God always calls your name and say "this is my child whom I love, in him I'm well pleased." GO AND SAVE THE LOST SOULS

6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Isreal. 7 As you go, proclaim this message: ''The Kingdom of heaven has come near''. Mat 10:6-7. Yesterday we looked at the various signs informing us about the END TIME. As Christians what do we have to do in the face of these signs? We have to, 1. Live holy and godly lives as we look forward to the day of God (2 Pet 3:11-12) and 2. Go to the lost sheep of the world to tell them ''the kingdom of heaven has come near'' (Matt 10:6-7). Let's pray for the entire world for God is pleased to see all people saved and to come to the knowledge of truth (1 Tim 2:1-4). Remember God  does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked. He is pleased when they turn from their deadly ways and live (Ezekiel 18:23). Jesus said in John 14:2 that, ''My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?''. The Heaven's gate is open to rece
