This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. What did you do before God created you? God anticipated that man would have needs so he created all those needs before creating man. That's care and love. Care and love move in tandem. You can't love unless you care and vice versa. Because of his love for us, when sin separated us from Him, He sent his only son to come and die for us that we might live through him. Would God bother to sacrifice his only son to atone for our sins if he doesn't love us? You will realise that the doings of God concerning his love for us, we played no role in them at all. It's not by works that we are loved by God but it's by grace. He has decided to love us and nothing can shake the foundation of

We think he is not there for us when we need him most. Yes it happens. But the truth is that God is always with us even in the toughest times. Without God, you wouldn't have reached the point where it seems you are all alone. Remember he has promised not to leave nor forsake us. Things will sometimes be difficult but they cannot fall apart when they are in the hands of God. Let's not limit the love of God to what our minds can conceive. Think about how big God is and not how big that problem appears to u. He is with us in the red sea, fire, lions den, on the mountains and in the darkest valley. HE loves and cares for us. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:28 NIV We give thanks to God the everlasting and the creator of the universe. Glory be to God for  tirelessly working for my provision. God created the earth and gave everything in it for man to keep them. He didn't create them for his own consumption but for man. Our security, shelter, health care and the likes are provided by God. He will not grow weary or tired working for you. If God be for us who can be against us? If God is our security who can break into our territory? If God is our source of provision how can we lack? If God is our inspiration how can we be discouraged? God is working for us, our needs are his responsibility. Our welfare is in His hand. No one can fathom how he is able to supply us all our needs according to his riches. Thank you God for working for me. Amen! RO

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 NIV Imagine how the world would be if everyone bears the fruit of the Spirit? Terrorism, corruption, backbiting, indiscipline, etc will cease to exist when everyone is spiritually fruitful. Jesus said in John 15:1-2 that, He is the true vine and his father (God) is the gardener. He (God) cuts off every branch in the vine (Jesus) that does not bear fruit but those that bear fruit he prunes that they will even be more fruitful. Let's assess ourselves this morning if we are fruitful or fruitless branches in the vine. A Christian whose action doesn't yield the fruit of the Spirit is fruitless. Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20 NIV God is the wisest man who is still living. In his own wisdom he established the universe. He is the father of knowledge and wisdom. How can we become wise without walking with him? The surest and the only way to be wise is to walk with God. It's either we walk with God to be wise or we associate ourselves with the fools to suffer harm. The Bible says in James 1:5 that " If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you". God gives his wisdom generously to those who ask him but you can ask him only when you walk with him. Make it a point to walk with him henceforth in Spirit and in Truth. God richly bless you. You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:20 NIV In a business acquisition transaction, a company that's acquired is acquired with its assets and liabilities mostly at a price higher than the net asset of the acquired company. This excess price over the net asset is called goodwill. When a company is bought it ceases to work in its own interest but in the interest of the parent. Our scripture for today says we were bought at a price. Christ bought us with his blood. Blood is life hence buying us with his blood means giving us his life so that we can live. We were full of liabilities (sin). We had no goodwill, we were dead, poor, sick, etc yet God still loved us and he purchased us with the blood of his son at a goodwill (Grace). Now that we have been purchased we are not our own. We exist for God as a result we ought to honour him with our bodies. May the Lord help us to love for him. Amen! Sometimes it gets tough, it gets rough, it gets so hard that it looks unbreakable, so dark that there seem to be no visibility, too high beyond our ability. Our eyes become red but we can't cry, our throats become dry, our legs become weak but we have no wings to fly. Tens of thousands of thorns flood the way. Let me pause a moment and say, we wake up each day either to face a new fight or to continue an old fight. We are like soldiers without rest, faced with many test. Our only hope is God gives us the best. Life is good but hard. In fact we cannot go through the good moments in life without welcoming its tough end. We must journey through the difficulties life brings to sustain its good moments. When you feel so tired, so unaccomplished and you feel like quitting just listen to the voice that says, " Be strong and courageous, I will never leave you or forsake you and I'm with you till the end of the age." Do you want to be rich? Yes it's good to create wealth but Do It The God's Way. Do you want to achieve academic excellence, attain higher height in ur career? That is wonderful but Do It The God's Way. Do you want to enter into a relationship or marry? Awww it's a good decision, remember God said it's not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him, (Gen 2:18). Aspire to be in that wonderful relationship or marriage but Do It The God's Way. Has somebody hurt you? Is somebody not living a godly life? Yes, that person needs to be taught, rebuked, corrected, and trained in righteousness, (2 Tim 3:16). Teach, rebuke, correct and train that person The God's Way. What else? In whatever you do, whether you are being watched or not, just do it the God's way. We magnify your name for your invaluable mercy for us through the crucifixion of Jesus for outcasts like us to be reunited with you.
