DO NOT BLAME GOD WHEN YOU SIN

"The man said, 'The woman you put here with me, she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it." Gen 3:12 Exposition Mostly, when we commit sin, instead of we showing remorse and ask for forgiveness, we rather try to give reasons for our immoralities and apportion blame. Adam had a foreknowledge that eating that fruit was forbidden yet when he did eat, he ended up blaming God by saying "the woman You put here with me..." He could have shown remorse and ask for forgiveness, rather, he sought a way to justify what he did. No one can justify himself before God. It is Him who justifies. We are left with no option as Christians than to be remorseful and ask for forgiveness of sin when we are caught in it for  God's word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9.  May the Lord help us to be righteous always. THE SMALL BEGINNINGS

"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin..." Zacharia 4:10 Exposition Many of us have great ambitions. We have dreams when realized can move mountains, fill the valley, break iron gates, etc. I mean, the reality of our dreams can provide solutions to lots of the challenges in our society. The question is, why are many dreams aborted? Many dreams do not see the day of light, a lot die with their ambitions, and many talents have gone wasted. I could not agree more with Les Brown when he said,  “The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.” Given the magnitude of our dream
