TRUST NONE

4 Beware of your friends; do not trust anyone in your clan. For every one of them is a deceiver, and every friend a slanderer. 5 Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning. Jeremiah 9:4-5.  We are being urged today not to trust our friends and even our families for everyone of them is a deceiver. Great men have fallen whereas many people are disappointed because they were betrayed by their confidants. Lots of people we call friends are actually parasites who are around us to suck our blood. They fail to tell you when you are wrong. They will malign you to others just to look good in their eyes. The enemy we sometimes run from resides in our cherished friends and families. Out of jealously, covetousness, discontentment and fear, Cain killed Abel, Joseph was sidelined by his brothers, Jacob deceived Esau for his birth right, David slept with Uriah's wife and killed Uriah thereafter, Absalom discred

ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM JUDICIOUSLY

"For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves". 1 Peter 2:15-16 NIV We have been redeemed from our sins to serve the Lord wholeheartedly. We have our liberty and we are not under the influence of any sin, curse or demons. The work was completed on the cross on our behalf by Christ. Now that we have such immeasurable freedom from the power of darkness how do we ought to live? We ought to live to demonstrate the character of the freedom fighter, Jesus. By living for him and in him, we will silence the ignorant talk of foolish people about the gospel. They will see the goodness of the Lord in us and they can't help but to follow Jesus. Let's not use our freedom in the Lord to cover up for evil. Let's live as God's slave. May the Lord bless His word and may He bless you as well. ROK ANSAH www.rokansah.blogspot.com

REFORM YOUR WAYS TO LIVE IN HIM

3 This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel says: reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place. 4 Do not trust in deceptive words and say, 'This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD! Jeremiah 7:3-4. Which aspect of your ways and actions need reformation? We ought to examine our lives each moment to see if our ways and actions are in conformity with God's will for us. The word says if we reform our ways and actions, He will let us live in "this place." The phrase "this place" can be said to be the dwelling place of God, his will for us, and his establishment for humanity. For the presence of God to dwell among us, we must strive daily to live as obedient children of God by doing what he requires of us. If we go about murdering, stealing, fornicating, deceiving, trust in deceptive words, etc, we won't have a portion in God's promises. When we keep disobeying God's instructi

A SOCIETY WITHOUT THE FEAR OF GOD

A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: the prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. Jeremiah 5:30-31. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge. For lack of knowledge my people perish. There is a lot of mess in the world because we don't factor the fear of God in our dealings. False prophets, pastors, and teachers are all over deceiving people to fill their stomach. The political institutions, governments, opinion leaders, etc are embracing laws which are affront to God. The world do not prioritize the fear of God hence there is lack of divine knowledge. The evil deeds of the world have no limit. Now homosexuals have a place in society simply because our leaders are ruling by their own authority rather than letting the authority of God prevail in their decisions. Fornication, adultery, idolatry, wickedness, etc, are the order of the day. There is no justice, no one promotes the case of the fatherl

AND IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD LIVES IN YOU...

The Holy Spirit has no limit. His presence in us gives us limitless power to do exceedingly abundantly more than the mind can conceive. The body without the Holy Spirit is dead hence he is always in us to quicken (give life to) our mortal bodies to enable us live for our maker. "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you." I am a living being in Christ having the Holy Spirit active in me and bearing the fruit of the Spirit. So the Lord has made us through his death and resurrection. As you step out and come back today, may the Spirit of the most high move out and in with you. Amen! ROK ANSAH 20.07.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com

MORALITY, LEGALITY AND THE SCRIPTURES

What is legal is based on the constitution that governs a particular jurisdiction. Many things that are morally absurd are legally right in some cases. As the scriptures promote morals which lead to salvation some aspect of many constitutions promote human right which leads to moral decadent. The question is; what would be God's basis for judgement? Would He consult the constitutions of countries or He would solely base his judgement on the scriptures which contains His own words? The scriptures is God's written constitution for mankind. It tells us how we shd live, what to expect from Him and what He expects from us. Any life lived outside the scriptures is abhorred by God. The scriptures acknowledge the dangers excessive demand for human right can bring to a society and its morals, hence, it's written, ''I have the right to do anything, you say but not everything is beneficial. I have the right to do anything but not everything is constructive. 1 Cor 10:23.

NOTHING CAN HINDER THE LORD FROM SAVING US

Jonathan said to his young armour bearer, 'Come, let's go over to the outpost of the uncircumcised men. Perhaps the LORD will act on our behalf. Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few. 1 Samuel 14:6. That was Jonathan telling his armour bearer to go with him to attack the Philistines. He believed that nothing could hinder God from saving them from their enemies though they were just two in number. There come a point in life where we face multiple challenges and we ask ourselves how we could overcome them. The answer is simple. Approach each situation having in mind that nothing can hinder God from helping you overcome. Remember the battle is the Lord's. It's not your effort that will grant you victory it is the presence of God in you. Yes, we are vessels filled with the Spirit of God for battles.  He who lives in us will always fight for us. Just be in a good standing with him. ROK ANSAH www.rokansah.blogspot.com

TWO DAYS IN A MAN'S LIFE WITH DIFFERENT PURPOSE

In life, there are two memorable days. Even though we do not see any of these days, they are so significant to every man. We live to be told when we were born but people would live to tell others when we die. As our birthdays introduce us into this world, our death days take us out of the world. Our birthdays put smiles on the faces of our loved ones but the days of death bring sorrow. On our birthdays, we ought to put these thoughts into consideration since one of them will actualize. Thus, we will either; 1. Live longer than we have already lived, 2. Live shorter than we have already lived or 3. Live equal to the years already spent on earth. No matter the longevity of the rest of our lives from our birthday anniversary, the question that must be answered is "How would I spend the rest of my days on earth?". "How can I make the future brighter than the past?" You may have already achieved a lot, little, or nothing in life but I can assure you that the future

GOD IS PLEASED TO MAKE US HIS OWN

For the sake of his great name, the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own. 1 Samuel 12:22. As a matter of fact, we didn't decide to become the children of God. God in his own wisdom made us his own. He made us his own when sin was dominant in our lives. Even after we have been saved, as humans, we do sin, yet God says, for the sake of His great name, he will not reject us because he is pleased to make us his own. Brethren, just think of what you were when you were called. Not many of us were wise by human standards, influential, or of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, the weak things to shame the strong. No matter how the world perceive you, God is pleased to make you his own. He won't reject you so don't reject him. ROK ANSAH 10.07.17 www.rokansah.blogspot.com www.facebook.com/rkansah
