TODAY WE'RE, TOMORROW WE'RE NOT

Yesterday we were a fetus,
Today we are living beings,
Who shall we be tomorrow?
None can say with certainty.
We aspire to become who we are not.
Before we become who we are not,
Many will give up, others will die.
We may not achieve all our dreams,
Yet in the midst of our failures and victories,
We should aspire to make it to our Maker
When the trumpet sounds.

Today we're, tomorrow we're not.
The journey of life ends at the doorstep of death.
When my life will end remains unknown,
Yet with certainty, I know I will be no more one day.
Because it's appointed unto man to die once,
But after this, the judgement.
Today we have life, tomorrow we may not have it
Today we are young, tomorrow we will be old.
As we grow older, the closer we get to the grave.
Whether timid or brave,
Each day, we approach the grave as we age.
As we attend others' funeral,
So one day ours would be attended by many.

Today we're, tomorrow we're not.
I have seen the poor become rich
I have seen the rich become poor
I have seen the unemployed employed
And the employed unemployed.
The married become a widow
And the single married.
The boss can become a slave and vice versa.
Life is full of both positive and negative possibilities.
No matter what happens to us, where and how it happens,
One thing remains constant, death awaits us all.
HOW PREPARED ARE YOU?
