THE SMALL BEGINNINGS

Exposition
Many of us have great ambitions. We have dreams when realized can move mountains, fill the valley, break iron gates, etc. I mean, the reality of our dreams can provide solutions to lots of the challenges in our society. The question is, why are many dreams aborted? Many dreams do not see the day of light, a lot die with their ambitions, and many talents have gone wasted.

I could not agree more with Les Brown when he said, “The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.”

Given the magnitude of our dreams, many of us do not want to humbly start with the little resources at our disposal. We want to start it all big! Really? Have you forgotten you were born a little child but you have grown up to become an adult? So anything you start with little, coupled with the right attitude would grow to become great. The multinational companies we see and hear about never begun as multinationals, they were once small companies even some were just one man business.

God is advising us not to despise small beginnings for He rejoices to see us start the work. Begin to work out your dream to become a reality, do not abort it, do not die with it. All that you have to do is to press the start button and the Lord will take care of the rest. Remember, the tree that you want to provide a shade for you tomorrow should be planted today.

We are living in a generation where God has made it easy to spread his word across the world. Technology has come to aid the spread of the gospel.
