DONE DEAL

Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord ’s hand double for all her sins.

Exposition
Meditating on the above scripture creates in me an endless joy. It informs me of how I am loved by my father, how he cares for me and how he wouldn't want me to wallow in sin. Father I thank you.
It's a done deal in my favour. A deal I didn't play any role in it yet I am the beneficiary. The scripture says my hard work has been completed. Who completed it for me? Jesus did complete it for me on the cross. Jesus again paid for my sins on the cross. And now I receive in every moment from the Lord's hand double for all that I lost because of my sins.
Baba God, I will trumpet your goodness to the world for you have done it all in my favour.
We have been favoured.
