BUILD YOURSELF UP IN THE FAITH

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Jude 1:20-21 NIV

EXPOSITION
The Christian walk is characterized with lots of missiles thrown from the camp of the enemy at any point in time. Think about what happened to Job and the other great servants of God. Their faith was tested on many occasions. The apostles for instance, were chained, imprisoned, and flogged but because their faith was firmly built on the ROCK, they never gave up. Job, the Bible says never sinned against God in all his difficulties.


To build our faith, we need to be connected with the Holy Spirit who will teach, remind, direct, rebuke, and comfort us in the good and bad times. We ought to fast and pray in the Spirit of God to be in tune with God as we build our faith May God's love and mercy be your portion as you take steps to build up your faith.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17 NIV Everything is made perfect in Christ Jesus. We have been made whole in him, as such our lives will never fall apart.
