PRAY EARNESTLY WHEN IN ANGUISH

And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. Luke 22:44.

We are imitaters of Christ. If Christ prayed when he was in anguish then we must do same in times of tribulations and persecutions. The bible says He PRAYED MORE EARNESTLY. To act with earnest means to be sincere, serious, purposeful, and determined. Please let's pray with all seriousness, aggression, and strength.

Jesus could have prayed with the disciples but he decided to pray alone. It tells me that we should not always wait till there are church programs before we pray. There is the need to allocate time to pray privately like never before. Be sincere, serious, purposeful and determined when praying. Have a good time with God through prayers. Time spent in prayer is never wasted. God bless you.
