WHAT ARE YOU CONSIDERING LOSS FOR THE SAKE OF CHRIST?

But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ. Philippians 3:7-8.

Apostle Paul was an ardent believer of the law. But when he encountered Jesus, he realised that the law could not save but the blood of Jesus. That is the surpassing worth of knowledge he gained. He let go his old being and embraced Christ for the renewal of his body, spirit and soul.

Somethings must be considered gabbage in your life before you can please Christ. Luke 9:23 says, ''Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me''. Let's deny ourselves the lust and pleasures of the world for the sake of our encounter with Christ Jesus which is the foundation of our salvation.

We are living in a generation where God has made it easy to spread his word across the world. Technology has come to aid the spread of the gospel. I have had an engagement with people who think social media platforms are evil and are inspired by the devil to take captive many souls. Personally, I do not think so.
