LEARNING TO BE CONTENT IN EVERY SITUATION

"I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength".
Philippians 4:12-13

The secret to be content in every situation with great joy and peace is Christ. If you are aware that in Christ you have been blessed with all the heavenly blessings required for your physical and spiritual survival, you will always learn to draw your strength from him in every situation.

Apostle Paul learned to live above his situation because his life hinged on Jesus (the gospel). Is the Lord only good when things go our way? Is he bad, wicked, uncaring, heartless when situations do not work out according to plan, we fall sick or run out of basic needs in life?

Don't let your situation dictate how you serve or think of God rather let God dictate how you treat your situations through Christ.

God is God both in good times and bad. He's promised not to leave nor forsake us. His strength, through Christ is the power that sets us above every situation. When we draw our inspiration from him, we can approach every situation with contentment.

We are living in a generation where God has made it easy to spread his word across the world. Technology has come to aid the spread of the gospel.
