PUT YOUR GIFT INTO EFFECTIVE USE

"Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you".
1 Timothy 4:13-14

Everyone has great deposit of gift from the Lord in them. Sadly, few of us are aware of this and even those who are aware, rarely put their gift into use. One thing we should realise is that, God gives us his gifts to work with them but not to leave them idle.

Mineral deposits like gold is a gift from God but until it's mined, refined and processed into specific products or items, they serve no human needs. God has placed in us abundance of spiritual and physical gifts, the onus is on us to work with them for the benefit of ourselves, the church, and society at large.

One progresses spiritually and physically when they put their gifts into diligent and effective use. Let's now devote ourselves to put into use any gift the Lord has deposited in us. Let's not neglect them. If yours is to sing, preach, counsel, teach, prophesy, and what have you, do so to the glory of God.

Be diligent and give yourself wholly to your gift to God's glory. Make God proud!!!

We are living in a generation where God has made it easy to spread his word across the world. Technology has come to aid the spread of the gospel. I have had an engagement with people who think social media platforms are evil and are inspired by the devil to take captive many souls. Personally, I do not think so.
