MORALITY, LEGALITY AND THE SCRIPTURES

What is legal is based on the constitution that governs a particular jurisdiction.

Many things that are morally absurd are legally right in some cases. As the scriptures promote morals which lead to salvation some aspect of many constitutions promote human right which leads to moral decadent.

The question is; what would be God's basis for judgement? Would He consult the constitutions of countries or He would solely base his judgement on the scriptures which contains His own words?

The scriptures is God's written constitution for mankind. It tells us how we shd live, what to expect from Him and what He expects from us. Any life lived outside the scriptures is abhorred by God.

The scriptures acknowledge the dangers excessive demand for human right can bring to a society and its morals, hence, it's written, ''I have the right to do anything, you say but not everything is beneficial. I have the right to do anything but not everything is constructive. 1 Cor 10:23.

As we seek for our human right, let's find out what the scriptures say about them.
