GOD IS PLEASED TO MAKE US HIS OWN

For the sake of his great name, the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own. 1 Samuel 12:22.

As a matter of fact, we didn't decide to become the children of God. God in his own wisdom made us his own.

He made us his own when sin was dominant in our lives. Even after we have been saved, as humans, we do sin, yet God says, for the sake of His great name, he will not reject us because he is pleased to make us his own.

Brethren, just think of what you were when you were called. Not many of us were wise by human standards, influential, or of noble birth.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, the weak things to shame the strong. No matter how the world perceive you, God is pleased to make you his own. He won't reject you so don't reject him.
