HOW DOES GOD MEASURE LIFE?

Then he said, "Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own." Luke 12:15 NLT

We live in a day where corrupt, wicked and evil practices are widespread all in the name of accumulating wealth. Society today embrace the rich regardless of how they made their wealth.

God is not against the rich, He is not against living a good life. In fact, our prosperity is God's priority for He wish above all things that we prosper even as our souls proper. What God detests is using questionable means to accumulate wealth or to gain advantage over the other. He doesn't measure our lives base on how much we have but how well we acquired them and using them to solve societal problems including helping the deprived.

Let's not live like the rich man whose land yielded an abundant harvest, stored the surplus grain and said to himself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” 

“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’    “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”
Luke 12:16-21 NIV

Store for yourself and be poor toward God, share and be rich toward Him. God bless you and have a blissful weekend as we guard against every kind of greed.

We are living in a generation where God has made it easy to spread his word across the world. Technology has come to aid the spread of the gospel.
