WHY WE ARE WELL EQUIPPED

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:11‭-‬12 KJV

Yesterday, the word of God made us understand how we are sufficiently equipped as armies in the Kingdom of God. Today, I want us to briefly look at why God in his wisdom, has equipped us with His Spirit.

First of all, He made His spirit to dwell in us because, though we are in this world, we are not of this world. Secondly, as God's army, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. We do not face physical troops but spiritual. The Spirit of God therefore comes upon us to elevate us to spiritual status, He makes us heavenly beings, He sets us above our opponents which are principalities, powers, rulers of darkness in this world and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Let's therefore put on the full armor of God by putting to death the flesh and making the Spirit alive and active. The armor of God is "God's nature in us". Has God been defeated before? No! How then can you be overcome when you put on the full nature of God?

We have been made heavenly beings and spiritual forces to overcome every situation in life. That's what I have come to believe in God. That's my nature, it's yours too.

We are living in a generation where God has made it easy to spread his word across the world. Technology has come to aid the spread of the gospel.
